Description
Here's a commission for piece for ~AidenOConner . This depicts an image of Aiden's history just before the events of Star Fox 64 when Andross seizes control of the resource world of Macbeth. Many resistance fighters and Aiden take the fight into their own hands as they fend of the invaders as the Cornerian Army contacts Star Fox to go out and help.Aiden © AidenOConner

I'll be souly honest. Usually, I can't stand OC's when it comes to video games, but with the StarFox franchise, I absolutely LOVE IT!
The reason? SOO many characters from the original SNES games, and mangas were cut from the series entirely. (I'm a little rusty right now but I think the total was 19 or 21 characters) In a game like this we actually NEED OC's to create a liget story line and keep it strong.
I mean, this is coming from a random nerd fan like me who no lie owns all of the games (including StarFox 2 for the Super Nintendo) I had read through all of the classic StarFox comic books at least 5 times when I was a kid (sadly I no longer have them due to the house fire...)
But seriously, look at Aiden's face, can you feel his pain? Do you realize his strugle? The lynx (Sorry if I got the species wrong) is bleeding out from the chest but stills pulls himself up and is still running into combat. (This guy's a hardcore boss)
The man is so focused on protecting his city that he charges out without the worry of a cuffed vest or body armor of any kind. Aiden reminds me of the type of individual who would rather die then watch other's be killed, he would, bite, scratch, kick, and a fight until he finally went down swinging.
The asencse of a true soldier: No retreat, no surender, and fight until the last one standing with your final breath is taken, live or die, victory, or defeat you never stop fighting for what you know is right. That is the vow a true soldier, and that is what Aiden shows to me in this truly powerful image.
(JECBrush, truly fantastic job, your artwork has always spoke to me in ways most do not and tell your commissioner, AidenOConner that his OC's is truly unique and I love it.) Alright, that's all for now, Arch Weider Zein.)

It kinda does. If you take a look at the concept art of the Blaster Rifle from Star Fox: Assault, the gun looks like Halo's UNSC MA5 Assault Rifle. From which I believe a few higher-ups in Nintendo secretly likes Halo.

Wow i cant find the way to describe the epicness of your drawing, the effect of the splattering puedes os awesome, the shirt is a little wide in the mid body(I think, could be wrong) , but the stance looks Great, the image really makes you feel the character's wounds.

Well the gun is based off of the Blaster Rifle in Star Fox: Assault, which I believe is based of the MA5 Assault Rifle series from Halo.

There might be a few reasons why you see a child in this pic. It could be the baggy loose clothing and the relatively large head and eyes. These are common traits to a child-like character. Am I right?

He's actually 18 in this picture. He's skinny, but he is fairly tall. (6'3'' or 1.91 meters). I dunno, a lot of people say that he looks young. It was unintentional; I can't draw, so I had to have someone else originally design the character.

1. Blur. Watching th picture in full screen really gives a feeling it's a picture with Aiden being pasted on.
2. Aiden - I'm not sure how old is he, but he looks... Young. But awesome. No matter what happens, I'm sure he won't give up and fight till the end.
3. You just did a remarkably good job, J. (excuse me if you don't like calling you like that) the picture looks dynamic and realistic, even though it's only a still drawing. Wow.

Thanks! Aw, you're right. At first the blood was dark, but when I changed its blending mode it lost it's value matching the shade of the green shirt. If you know Photoshop, you'd most likely know how that happened.
