Alice pulls herself onto a high rooftop. She stands up and walks to the edge to get a better angle of the block. There far below is a small, but vital tech building belonging to Space Dynamics. A single dark armored transport lurks behind the building. She sets the stock of her heavy sniper rifle down after a tiring climb and speaks into her comlink.
"This is Alice. I'm in position." She reported as she located the position of Mr. Phoenix’s red command ship.
"We don’t have much time. Shears's men are already trying to crack open the data vault with plans of the prototype fighter. We'll have to remove their control of the area and prevent their escape." radioed Mr. Phoenix. "Fara, what's your status?"
"I'm patrolling in my Arwing now, keeping an eye in the sky. No bogies yet."
“Are there any reports of hostages inside?” Alice questioned.
"CDF reported several scientists and engineers being held captive. Their location inside is unknown. We’ll save them if we can, however protecting the data is priority one.”
Then off to the corner of Alice's gaze, she spots dark figures emerging from a distant roof top. She focuses in on them. One. Two. Three of them. Black armor. Two plasma rifles. One seeker rifle. The faceless soldiers stopped at the edge facing the tech building to guard their comrades from unwanted company. They begin to settle down and ready their weapons.
“Three tangos are on a balcony, opposite side of the block.”
“They will make this much harder if you’re seen, Sis.” warned Fara.
“If they do spot you, they’ll alert everyone and it will be a bloody mess. We need to keep collateral damage to a minimum. Take them out.”
Alice shoulders her weapon, charges up, and takes aim to one of the troops.
“Roger.”

A commission for whodat269 of his Star Fox OC. With my work getting much in the way, I tried to make this a quality image. In the end, I do like how the character and the background turned out.
