Cobra Commander is the leader of the organization known as Cobra, and is known for his ruthlessness. Cobra Commander’s history is known to be a mystery, or very little by G.I. Joe, though it is suspected that he may have at one point in time been the businessman executive Adam DeCobray, of a pharmaceutical company known as DeCobray Pharmaceuticals, who had mysteriously disappeared five years prior to Cobra Commander’s uprising, and the DeCobray Pharmaceuticals company was shut down nearly a year after the company executives disappearance. While it is still unknown as to who Cobra Commander really is, he is not to be underestimated in his pursuit of world domination, and his willingness to do whatever it takes to win. Cobra Commander has on many times has his plans foiled by G.I. Joe, and thus has sworn revenge against them, by focusing his pursuit for world domination on taking over control of the United States of America first, but has thus far been unsuccessful.

He has also been known to go head to head in combat with G.I. Joe operative Duke, who has been labeled as Cobra Commander’s chief nemesis.

Note: Cobra Commander is based on his appearance in G.I. Joe Resolute, but the part of his bio where his true identity is suspected to be Adam DeCobray and being the executive of DeCobray Pharmaceuticals comes from the G.I. Joe Renegade tv series.

Update September 23rd 2019: Replaced the sword with a better and more accurate design to the sword that Cobra Commander used in G.I. Joe Resolute.
