ANd here we have the pencils for Mr. Josh Owens' commission of Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones. It has been a while since Mr. Owens and I put our heads together and it was awesome. (We have to collab more Mr. Owens!) And in this piece he wanted me to draw Daenerys Targaryen with her three dragons. And I will admit to a great deal of ignorance when it comes to the show Game of Thrones. I think it might be impossible to live in this country and be completely unaware of it, it is a pretty big deal, but I have never seen an episode. I know... I KNOW... My work schedule keeps me insanely busy.

But when Mr. Owens hit me up looking for this commission, I jumped at the chance to work with my buddy again. I did some R&D and I think I know enough now about the character to be able to say that I can draw her and capture her spirit. Of course, I will be watching the show to really get into the intricacies of her relationships, her personality quirks and her heart-eating ways. Yep you read that correctly. If there's anyone out there who, like myself, have not the faintest clue about this lady, she ate the heart of a stallion... she's a baws.

Well this was super fun because I got to draw dragons, I got to work with Mr. Owens and I just loved the whole thing. I hope you dig it!
