Thanks for the thoughtful comments. Although I tried to faithfully adhere to the original photograph of Bamburgh, looking carefully at the painting I do see that green in particular seems to perhaps dominate the composition. Perhaps when I frame it I might crop the painting in the foreground to redress the balance.

Very well rendered and executed.
Being colorblind though, makes me wonder on your use of greens and yellows. They seem to me almost overabundant somehow.
And though that should give solace and appeasing thoughts, it somehow comes off as melancholic.
Just a thought in passing...
