Description Hey Guys I am Jefimus Prime and this is the Top 10 Video Game Bosses of the 2010s.  For This List I'm going to rank some the best boss battles from Video Games of The Last Decade.

10. Anti-Aqua (Kingdom Hearts 3): Oh this is gonna be bad. A friend who was forced into the dark, waiting and waiting to be rescued. Anyone would turn to evil if they had to spend an eternity in hell, with any hope of rescue fading away with each passing day, And that’s what made our lovable, gentle Keyblade Master Aqua into Anti-Aqua – a dark, sinister, angry bit…boss. Well anyways in order to rescue her from darkness you’ll need to beat the f out of her. Weird, but true. Well timed attacks and blocks are a staple for this fight.

9. Zeus (God of War 3): After facing Zeus in God of War 2, players must once again defeat him in an incredibly long and difficult fight in God of War 3. The battle against the leader of Olympus is even more challenging than players might expect, as it has multiple phases that happen in different settings, each with its own unique mechanics.  One of the hardest parts of the battle is when players are suddenly thrown into a 2D version of the arena. The side-scrolling approach to this part of the fight makes it difficult to dodge Zeus’ powerful attacks. As if things weren’t hard enough, a later phase reveals that Zeus can actually clone himself and attack Kratos from multiple directions. These clones are nearly impossible to dodge and even harder to kill.

8. Lord of Lighting (AKA Ruined Dragon): (Super Mario Odyssey): When You think of Mario Bosses you think of something whimsical or Silly like Bowser and The Koopalings but a giant purple dragon that looks like it came from Skyrim does feel out of place but make an interesting beast for Mario and Cappy to defeat.  Defeating this opponent requires an extensive amount of dodging, as the Ruined Dragon unleashes wheels of lightning around the battlefield. He also creates rings of electricity that flow outward when he falls to the ground. Climbing on top of the dragon is necessary to beat him, which can be dangerous if the pins in his head are not removed quickly. With three phases, each more difficult than the last, the Lord of Lightning lives up to his frightening title.

7. Senator Armstrong (Metal Gear Rising Revengence): Politicians are an easy target when it comes to villains in video games, but we’re struggling to think of one as entertaining, and as manly, as Senator Steven Armstrong! The final boss of the highly successfully Metal Gear spin off that sees Raiden hacking and slashing his way to the top of a world-ending conspiracy. This senator’s motivations may seem slightly one dimensional, but we dare you to find a better example of testosterone filled insanity. Be careful, he played football in college!

6. Shinnnok/Corrupted Shinnok (Mortal Kombat X:  Shinnok in MK X is horribly different from his incarnation in Sub-Zero or MK 4. He's much more difficult than he has been before and has 3 distinct forms in which the player can encounter him. He has the imposter form, bone-shaper form, and necromancer form.In his imposter form, he can take on the movesets of other combatants. In the bone-shaper form, he can create weapons from bones to bash you with. In his necromancer form, he's able to summon skeletal hands to attack or grab the player.

5. Bruticus (Transformers: Fall of Cybertron): Playing as Bruticus was one of the highlights of The Transformers War For Cybertron sequel, But having to fight the Combaticon combiner was merely a warm up for the Epic Showdown between Optimus Prime And Megatron. Playing as Jazz, the first phase would be to shoot him until his shield drops Then Grapple on to his face and shoot him in the face.  Then Bruticus starts using his propeller shield making a direct assault a bad idea luckily Jetfire is here to help as he drops an energon mine that you have to trick Bruticus in walking into and activate an air strike to finish him which would have been easy if it weren't for those Pesky leapers trying to kill you but if you focus on finishing off the Fight Brutictus is defeated.

4. Death Egg Robot (Sonic Mania): The Death Egg is a common name for many of Eggman's Robots but The one seen in Sonic Mania is one of the Franchises easiest Bosses to defeat.  To kill it you simply have to hit its head, but how you do that is completely up to you as it chases you along Green Hill Zone. You can hide behind it and tank some damage, wait for higher ledges to jump off, or try climbing on its arms.  Few video game bosses have this much flexibility, let alone Sonic series bosses. 2D Sonic games don’t typically have overly complicated boss fights, this stands out as one of the freest and fun ways to start a new adventure with Sonic.

3. Galactus (Marvel vs Capcom 3 Fate of Two Worlds/Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3): With Galactus’ insatiable hunger for entire planets and near godlike powers, very few fights are as big as this one. This cosmic-level threat from Marvel comics prefers to let his heralds deal with his foes before he gets his ginormous gloves dirty; and since it's a 'Marvel vs Capcom' game, he gets to pick his heralds from either universe's roster. Defeating them and then taking on Galactus and his devastating lasers, while Earth inches closer to destruction, really ramps up the stakes and makes saving the world that much more super.  Probably the best thing about him is his silly appearances in various endings, like being put on trial with Phoenix Wright as his defense lawyer or an annoyed Wolverine telling X-23 to get Galactus’ defeated body off his lawn.

2. Dr. Octopus (Marvel's Spider-Man):  The devious Doctor Otto Octavius has often tried to get the better of Spider-Man, but never has it been this heart-wrenching. In this game's storyline, he had created his mechanical tentacles to compensate for his worsening neuromuscular disease. Using this technology drives him to insanity as he tries to get revenge on Norman Osborn. Be prepared to swing all over the Oscorp tower and even fight on the side of this skyscraper, slipping past Doc Ock's inventive attacks throughout the fight. Since Peter always looked up to him but now is forced to fight him, this spectacular finale is as cinematic as it is conflicting.

1. Mr. Freeze (Batman: Arkham City): One of the best aspects of the Arkham video games is that they really stressed Batman as the detective, incorporating a Predator Mode to allow the player to use stealth to take down enemies, and no battle better showcases this unique feature. Against Mr. Freeze, here Strength won't get you far you got to get creative and think of different ways to temporarily incapacitate him using a takedown before attacking him. What makes this fight unique is that simply running up and attacking him without taking him down or using the same take down twice won't do. There are no vertical vantage points for you to take a break and plan your strategy, and if you get caught you're treated to an ice blast. Batman has to always keep moving and plan a step ahead, while Freeze uses his heat vision tech to follow your footsteps in a tense game of cat and mouse.

Honorable Mentions

Brainiac (Injustice 2) A villain so evil Batman had to team up with Tyrant Superman to stop him

Egg Dragoon (Sonic Generations): A VAST Improvement over the 2008 original battle.

Arkham Knight/Red Hood (Batman: Arkham Knight) a tragic and personal battle of Master and Apprentice

Terranort (Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep): Saddest Final Battle Ever
