Description To Boldly go where no gamer has played before.

10. Spaced out (Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex strikes back) Staring off this list is the stage that sets off the final boss battle. It mostly consists of familiar obstacles, though it introduces new floating platforms with dangerous glowing-hot sides, though the tops are safe to stand on. Perhaps the most notable feature of this level is the five-color gem path, a secret route that requires the player to have all five colored gems. Each gem's path seems to have a specific theme - the blue gem's path focuses on platforming involving pistons and floating sparky tenticlebot units, the green gem's path on shrinkage rays, the yellow gem's path on the glowing hot discs, the red gem's path on a combination of shrinkage rays and shield-wielding lab assissants, and the purple gem's path on a straight-forward walk to the hidden clear gem and the exit.

9. Final Weapon (Megaman X4)Here is an obnoxious level set in a weaponized space station occupied. Part 1 contains two major boss fights, and you need to beat them both to save As Zero you must fend off an upset Iris who later dies in Zero's arms as X you must defeat Double who is revealed to be a spy for both rep The first stretch of the level is easier than most anything encountered previously. The second stretch is just as easy. You just need to avoid all enemy shots, so you go into the boss fights with full energy. After beating this, you go on to the boss rush triumphant you must face the not dead Sigma in a final showdown.

8. Andy Asteroids (Earthworm Jim): A bonus stage that appears after every level in EWJ 1. Jim races his arch nemesis Psy-Crow through a treacherous asteroid field the player avoids asteroid and collect fuel pods and accelerator pods to win. If you succeed you move to the next level lose and you gotta fight beak brain to move on. plus as you progress in the game each Andy Asteroids stage gets tougher  and tougher.

7. Watchtower (Injustice: Gods Among Us): the next 3 are licensed game and this one is from a fighting game with superheroes and it's a space station which happens to be the main headquarters of the Justice League. The Watchtower is constructed of promethium and uses highly advanced Martian, Thanagarian, Kryptonian, New Genesis, and Earth technology. On the bridge fighters use counsels orbs and sentry robots before knocking each other through a fleet of aircrafts and take the fight to the reactor. Once there they clobber one another with lasers pipes and sends the other metahuman on a ride through space.

6. Starbase: Where No Turtle has gone before Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time) arriving in the far future and in a Space Station.the Ninja Turtles must hack and slash their way past foot solders Robot Walkers appear here. Then The Green teens battle Krang who fights them in a UFO, over a time portal that will take them home.

5. Til all are one (Transformers: Fall of Cybertron) The sequel to one of the best Transformers games ever has two space levels the first was a tutorial where you play as Bumblebee but then the second which is set during the events of the first level things get a little over the top . First you play as Soundwave and you have to destroy the ark's ammo then your Jetfire and you have to destroy tow cables launched from the nemesis thus cutting off Decepticon reinforcements.  then your Bruticus and  you have to destroy the ark's main engines and stomp some Autobots along the way then your Jazz and you have to defeat Bruticus, and avoid those pesky leapers then it leads to the showdown between Optimus Prime and Megatron depending who you choose  Smack your opponent around, performing quick time events when their prompted. Your opponent will do the same back to you. Every now and then they’ll also attack you with their vehicle form.

4. Space Zone (Super Mario Land 2: The 6 Golden Coins) A Mario stage in space yup way before our favorite Italian plumber started hopping around galaxies in Super Mario Galaxy this was the closest we got to seeing Mario in space to get their the play needs to ride a bubble to the moon where the must take down foes and battle Mario's oldest enemy Tatanga.

3. Mission 6 (Halo Reach) The sixth Mission in Halo Reach Noble team will do an excellent job of clearing out the Covenant forces on the beach. While you fight your way to a launch station once there you over take a Wraith and mow down covies. Then you hitch a ride a saber to blast some more Covies before you start storming a Covenent ship.

2. Starlight Zone (Sonic The Hedgehog) Next is the fifth stage in the very first Sonic game. It is a rather peaceful zone set in an urban environment at night, under the stars and containing many loops, accompanied by beautiful music. This stage contains many roller coaster-like sections in which Sonicis hurled along paths at great speed; it is possibly the game's strongest showcase of Sonic's speed, At the end of Act 3, Dr. Robotnik shoots spiked mines onto three see-saws. The mines detonate soon after, but Sonic can use the see-saws and the mines to either shoot the mines at Robotnik or use them to propel himself towards him.

1. The Moon Ducktales/Ducktales: Remastered) Argubly the best space level is from one of the best licensed games in existence Scrooge pogo jumps on the lunar surface navigating through a spaceship calling on Gizmoduck to help break into the moon vault and tangle with a mutant rat over the green cheese of longevity. The selling point of the stage is the music  by Hiroshige Tonomura and later Jake Kaufman . The “Moon Theme” background music has enjoyed a cult-like status in recent years. This song is by far the most notable track of all the DuckTales video game tracks, sometimes even being considered among the most beloved tunes in video game history, such as by ScrewAttack.

Star Light Zone was a space level? I thought it was supposed to be a night time level.

Very good, Jeff.

If I were to make a list, I would've put the German Lunar Base from Wolfenstein: The New Order.

I also like how you picked the Space Zone from Super Mario Land 2, show to he people that it was Mario's first trip to space, long before Super Mario Galaxy.
