Beautiful picture! Even it was Shiva who created the universe, Parvati can change into Durga or Kali! I really like the tone and colours and the intensity of their eye contact!

Thank you Lucy! I'm doing some sketching for a new project with Radha and Krishna. Traditional Painting this time. I think you'll love that too!

It's digital art dear. I made a base drawing with MS Paint and then kept layering and editing it in Photoshop until I got this result.
The colors in the background are a representation of the colors i used for Shiva and Parvati. I try to limit the range of colors in my paintings and it is important that the background matches the colors used in the characters at front. Playing with light and contrast is also really important. It makes you're characters come to life.
I've also posted a traditional piece of art: a acryl painting of Radha and Krishna. That painting is of inferior quality. I had to make it under extreme time pressure, totally not satisfied with the end result. I've been enhancing the whole painting digitally, because it needed so much more work thereafter. I'll finish it this summer and post it up here!

Bgagan, I made this one on low resolution, before learning about deviantart and the whole print system. I'll make my future work in higher resolution.
I think I have to agree with you on Shiva's eyes. Could've done that better. I've stopped making art on the computer though, and focusing on traditional painting. Kinda busy with studies at the moment, but hope I'll find time in the coming month to create something new!

That's a beautiful depiction of Shiva and Parvati. I've tried a couple of times in 3d graphics to do the same. My attempt was not that good but I really want to do a newer version. Thanks for the inspiration.
