Thanks   Yeah the adults typically stay away from humans, but you can increase your luck by sticking around nests and getting the yearlings when they start hunting on their own.

Thanks, I've got another 3-5 shots I'll post sometime in the future on this same bird, same pass.  And this is the closest, sharpest pass I've gotten in 2 years with these birds.  I hear Osprey are more abundant about an hour south of me tho so maybe next year I'll have some more.

Man, the UK.  I follow Thomas Heaton and I'm always fascinated when he visits the peak district or the lake district.  You guys have a lot of very photogenic landscapes over there.  You may want to check out Alan Brock and Ben Horne, they both shoot intimate south west USA landscapes with a 8X10 large format.

One day I plan to visit over there, Iceland, Faroes, and the UK.
