Logos are so simple, they're frustrating to make because you have to make sure they get their point across in as few lines as possible.My original plans (that didn't look like the logo for SSBM) was to have a skull in a square of celluoid, but that seemed anachronistic... so today I got the idea to put it in a 'bullethole' instead.
The Skull Drop was just serindipity, and it was too cute to pass up.
I see two logos in this - The bullet hole w/ the skull drop, and the skull drop by itself (because it's a relatively easy, continuous shape). The bullethole helps keep the logo 'grittier' than the skull alone would be.

Completely awesome. I love that red and the skull is oddly adorable. I think it would look awesome on laptop bags or notebooks or something. So you're putting it as 'Last Resort' instead of 'Vampire of Veldin'? As for this Momocon ... you got yourself a booth?

Last Resort is what I'm doing it as, because the term "Vampire of Veldin" is at least partially copyrighted, and unlike PvP's fun with 'Alderran Shot First', I can't claim that Veldin is an actual star system or anything which by definition can't be copyrighted.
This logo is first and foremost designed as an in-series logo for the show, and inadvertently can be used for the comic itself.
I should be hitting 3000 soon... I may have to do a shot of a Club Dread waitress wearing a shirt with that logo on it for the pinup I'll owe. I'll figure it out quickly.
