A gift for one of my art teachers in high school. She was always there when I needed, and she's given me all she possibly could to prepare me and take the dive into the world beyond high school.I spent 12 HOURS on this beast. My wrist was pretty bad towards the end... -rests it today- ;w; lol... I pretty much worked from 4pm to 4 am.... lololol.
Oh hey guys.. I graduated on Sunday.. it was nice... >w> I didn't feel like making a journal... ALSO. ah nevermind.. -makes a journal-

oh my goodness, this is gorgeous (: you're right, the normal full view doesn't give you a taste of the all the details in the fur and such that you put in. looks really awesome up close, the fur looks so... really and neat X) omg those eyes look really nice, too ;; they're.. captivating. the orange color looks so awesome D;
also and the perspective on this looks really good as well. definitely get the feeling we're up above looking down. The paws/arms though look kind of strange, I'm thinking they should be a tad smaller since they'd be on the ground? Don't take that from me though since I'm a real newbie when it comes to perspective like that XD
and the water and rocks, those are fantastic. the waves especially X) washing up on the rocks. I also like the bits of green and orange you included in the background.. ground.

AH ha, well.. usually I DON'T have this sorta patience! And having a tablet helps.... -imagines doing with a mouse- YIKES. I would have gone with colored pencils or something @w@;;;

Yeah, I'm trying to get readjusted with a mouse since I no longer have a Graphic Arts class where I can thieve the tablet... I miss that tablet... It was a good one too: a Wacom Intuos 6x8. *waterfall tears* I miss Adobe Illustrator CS2 as well...
