Really nice shading. I also really suck at gradients in Illustrator but i really want to learn how to do them properly.

This may not be the most detailed piece and it's not really your best technical work ever, but it has a nice feel. It's nice... relaxing. Like a breath of fresh air.

By the way, long time no see. How've you been? Glad to have you back!

very nice, I love how you did the sketchy outlines of her and overlaying tones, makes for good combination

A nice, light and airy peice, but I think the hair lacks detail. It doesn't feel balanced with the rest.

ahhh yes.. the hair...
well.. as you might have already noticed, the hair and her clothing doesn't really have shading and definition to it.... that was the plan all along...
so yeah. kthnx.

thats so cool, how was it done??
do you use illustrator?
and export the paths? to photoshop and use the colours in that
or just do it in illustrator?
that really is so coo, love the tonal work, i really wanna do something like that but no idea on where to start

jellycious In reply to souljahsstory [2004-07-01 07:59:52 +0000 UTC]

i use illustrator to outline it, and add primary colors, then shade in photoshop (since i suck at using gradients at Illustrator)

so yeah..
