When Cactus Day comes in Japan I always love to draw my OC Maya, and this time she is wearing a cute new outfit I’ve inspired by the Aikatsu Stars brand Shiny Smile.

Maya really loves anything floral and colorful so I felt that an outfit like this would suit her well. I never did Maya with pastel colors before so I thought it would be an interesting idea to start with this. It’s also been quite the long time since I’ve drawn her in this style and since November, when I last drew Maya in this style, I’ve developed a new way of drawing noses that I feel fits Maya better than my previous way of just using only circles.
