I have been working on this piece for a long while. there has been much of my time and creativity put into this piece but not knowing what direction to finish her, or bring her into. And then . . . it evolved completely.My cat was found yesterday morning she got jumped over my porch gate , and I was called and informed of her passing.
After a long while of crying and sobbing, I brought this piece to light and gave her finishing touches with many of her features, her little white bow above her lips that my cat had, whisker freckles , gray green cat eyes, a smudge of white which looked like liner about her eyes and a mischievous smirk.
The piece is titled Spirit of Holly.

Your work reflects your feelings Jen. And though it is a truly beautiful piece it is also a sad one for the reasoning behind its finish. it hurts now, and nothing will help that. Holly is still with you and always will be she knew your love of her.
