This is Oy, the billy-bumbler from Stephen King's Dark Tower series.

Billy-bumblers look like a combination between a raccoon, woodchuck, & dachshund (though mine seems to have some feline in it, too...). They can be taught how to talk, and nobody really knows if they simply mimic what they hear people say (like parrots) or if they can really learn & think. They make very loyal pets, once trained.

I may or may not color this. If anyone else wants to, let me know. You're more than welcome to. Comments requested, as usual!
