We had a pumpkin in the house one year, while it was waiting to be carved, and my house cat claimed it. She'd sit on it, and if you tried to touch it, she's spit and claw at you! It was hilarious.

Ironically, hubby brought home pumpkins today... a large, nicely rounded one and two teeny ones. The kitties have been interested in them but haven't gotten too close yet. I'm just waiting for one of the cats to "claim" one of the small pumpkins

Lovely work on this! I think the black and white is fabulous because it just makes the eyes and the pumpkin stand out so well. Your kitty is so cute, mine just sit around and pester me to pet them. >> I love the magical, sort of whimsical feel this piece gives; it reminds me a lot of those cute Halloween cards you see in the stores. :3

What does the original two photos look like of Dusty before the ps enhancements? Such a cute kitty though.

I don't have them uploaded to dA, but they aren't as dark and the colors aren't as contrasted. His eyes are really a gold/yellow. The originals have no "texture" and of course no sparkles or words.

I have an orange kitty named Simba who looks like Simba, black kitten, a tabby with beige coloring intermixed and a Siamese with blue eyes and brown fur. All gorgeous
