One small critique, the word "Freedom" being white over the white border for the flag is something I find a little distracting because of how the letters don't stand out quite as well as they could. I think I would have either changed the word's placement or color so that it would look better on lower quality monitors.

Yep, I noticed that too, to be honest...

Matthew 22:39 ''..You shall love your neighbor as yourself.''
''Christ first, our country next'' sounds like discrimination to me,like: Me and nobody else period . Is that how u see the situation: USA and the rest ??
1Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--Jews or Greeks, slaves or free--and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
John 8: 36 So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.
That's the freedom we need first!
Peace!!

I'm simply quoting Andrew Jackson. I am well aware of how we are all Children of Christ.

Amen. The founding fathers are probably rolling in their graves because some people don't like the "one nation under GOD" and "in GOD we trust" on our currency and pledge...

If they could, they probably would, you're right.....

I don't know about that. The phrase "one nation under god" came about in the 50s to differentiate ourselves from Russian communists. The phrase "In God we Trust" came about after the horror of the civil war.
I personally don't have a problem with it, but I'm pretty sure founding father's opinion on the use of god on public things would be as varied as ours is now.
But Jenn, it's a very beautiful piece. I especially like the way the flag fades away in the background, perhaps into the future.

Is it? I took that directly from a print. Maybe I shouldn't do these things late at night...and I was even wearing my glasses.... which part is it?

It's the quotation right after "next!", I think what happened was that when you put it on there, it thought that you meant to quote the "Andrew Johnson", and not the actual quote. Happens to me sometimes, it's not that noticable.

Wow. This is beautiful.
I do look forward to this day, though I'm skeptical as to whether or not it will ever come.
