Finally finished. I love when you feel you're done and you've done a pretty good job . . . I HATE when you notice little details that just aren't right and then try and fix them and then feel it has gotten worse.
Anyway, I was told today that I will never be satisfied. So this is close enough. And again, it looks infinitely better in person.
It looks extremely grainy after fixative and scanning. But whatever. Download full size if you dare - it's COLOSSAL.

Your comment about how you were told that you will never be satisfied is true of how most artists look at their work... but it reminded me of the Da Vinci quote "Art is never finished, only abandoned"
It sounds kinda depressing, I know... but it's true if you think about it. There will always be some little detail that someone can point out and say "this could be better". But you have to set a limit to how much you will tweak something, or else it will be in a constant state of change and end up being completely different in the end, just like LadyMika42 said.
But, having said that...
I love this image! Ive seen that movie too many times, so when I saw the title, I giggled a little as I envisioned the scene where he gets the guard's leg chained up by distracting him with the bouncy ball
