Went with Carla to ride her mare today, and got there just in time to watch the geldings being turned out after a week of confinement due to bad weather. As you can see, they were very enthusiastic. You'd never guess this is a pleasure gelding!Anyone's welcome to draw this; make sure to note me with a link so I can check it out!
This gelding is an AQH, boarded (and maybe owned) by Arlington Farms, located in Marysville, OH.

Absolutly gorgeous, reminds me of the summer when the horses get let out into the back pasture. They are absolutly estatic and running and bucking around in the tall grass. Fantastic shot!

Thanks! Yeah, I was happy with how clear it was...No control over the background though; these guys were bouncing all over the place!
You know, I was irritated with them having halters because it got in the way of the picture (and why the hell do horses need their halters on for turnout?) but in this case, the halter slinging back really seemed to convey how fast he was going, so I was pleased. Thanks for the comments!
