There is a very nice natural DoF (Depth of Field), in the background, which greatly punches the boat into an even more defined view. The red netting is very distinctive and really gives the image a lot of feel to the viewer (in this case the viewer being myself). Its a shame they leave the beach so littered but, in this case it acts as a wonderful focal point start that draws you towards the men and their fishing boat. The colouring, fluctuating from warm through pastels and vivid, works so well in the photo. Great clarity, great capture, great job, Jenny.

Quite difficult for me taking images in Sri Lanka because the light and colourful clothes/net which people wear can become too saturated.
I was aware of this when taking the pic.
Yes.......the garbage is always a problem here and am glad it was useful here!
