Oh wow... this took way too long.
This is 1 of 4 pieces in a dream series that does not yet have a title. This is for my Senior Project and if I don't do well on this then I AM NOT GRADUATING. Naw I'm jk I just won't get a job and I'll stay home, become a bum, and never draw again. D:

It's a dream I had when I was younger. I was in some barren land but a beautiful white deer found me and let me on its back and it swiftly ran through the barren land and the path where it walked became grassy.
Pleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaase help me. I need to graduate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you did a nice job! I think I would have preferred real deer hooves to points, and the little girls dress doesn't seem 'flowy' enough, but other than that the background and colors are beautiful.

it looks amazing, i would suggest patching up the bottom cloud holding the water, it looks like it should be spilling more because the cloud looks open you know? like if you were pouring a glass of water and only one side was pouring out? sorry if this is confusing.

I'm not going to lie, the first thing that came up to mind was Pokemon and Nagrand (yeah I know I'm pretty bad).
This is a pretty awesome drawing: the ripples in the water, the details on the roots/vines, the REFLECTIONS (gg reflections). It's a unique drawing that can be easily appreciated.

Not sure what constructive criticism I could add to this picture. It looks really beautiful though! With a touch of magical from what I see (that flashy greenery all around the river, which in turn comes from a giant cascade down the clouds, are both really amusing)!
I think it's a fine piece overall. Your teacher may pinpoint a thing or two, but he/she sure has a lame taste if he/she doesn't take a liking for this. ^_^ Keep up the good work!

I wish I could give some criticism to help you grow, but the thing is I don't see anything wrong with this one, aside from the water maybe looking a bit pale but that could just be blamed on the sun in the picture.
I presume you put more time into it than you thought you would; that's a good thing, actually, because the effort truly does show here.

In a lot of ways I'm really glad to hear you see nothing wrong with my piece! ^.^ I'll work on the water a bit more -- I changed the colour a few times, didn't know what was wrong with it. But now that you said you noticed it's pale I'll try and saturate it a bit more.

The reflection in the water kicks ass; maybe give it a bit more depth, like visible plants underwater and such?

I love this! The water reflection looks great and the vines/plants trailing off the deer looks amazing. Also the waterfall from the clouds is really dream-like. The ONLY thing I would change (it's such a small thing, but you said you wanted some critique) is the deer's face. Making the snout slightly longer might help the dream-esque theme. Otherwise, amazing job!
