Description
Minotaurs are semi-sapient Chalicotheres that developed horns and facultative bipedalism more or same on the level of apes and bears. On the small side for a Chalicotherium (likely a result from both island dwarfism and a habit of being trogloxenes, needing to be shorter to adjust to such spaces), they often favor making their dwellings within caverns to rest, store food, and rear their young into their teenage years.
They're usually quite territorial and elusive animals and so a heard is a rare sight indeed, when forming herds, it's at a maximum of 13 individuals and likely a result of needing extra safety from dangers like encroaching Humans or lurking Drakons. Art by JTellezSalty
