Description
Vrol are a sapient species of hypercarnivorous bilateral aliens who belong to a kingdom that evolved from radial ancestors, with only the most basal extant species still retaining a radial symmetry due to not needing to change out from their aquatic and amphibious lifestyles. The Vrol specifically have evolved from cursorial mid-order predators whose spiracles on the hindlimbs have long since anthropied/sealed up early in their evolution.

Vrol society was incredibly prosperous, as were any other races and independent colony empires that decided to become their customers, being a major supplier of a good handful of things throughout the milky way, but primarily and most infamously, slave labor. This tradition stems from a strong innate desire to establish dominance over other living beings, which is why aside from starcrafts, most Vrol vehicles utilize beasts of burden even in their modern era, which they take great pride in as a sign of conquering nature as a people, and one is only a person if they have at least a pound or two of power, according to their prolific philosophers. Luckily their evil rule was ultimately very short-lived, as an early (like, pre-Terran joined) GCW made a swift end to the slave trades, at least... officially.
