I've been meaning to submit this/these for an age.. Ok since late August...There is a lot of feeling in these pics for me, it kinda shows moods and feelings at different times, different views of the same subject.
They were taken within a few minutes of eachother and tell a lot about how lighting and perspective changes.. The left one was taken looking more down and from further right (so to the left of the sunset) where my garden was in the background.. The other two were from the same spot but a few minutes apart as the sunset changed..

Absolutely stunning series of images. I really like the emphasis on the background in each, given you're using the same subject. The silhouetted flower in each just works so well.

Yeah, I gots one. And I loves it. The thing I want now, besides a 5D or 1Ds (and neither of those are likely any time in the next decade) is a wide angle L series lens. Trouble is, there are so many to choose from I'm buggered if I know which way to go...

haha, know the feeling brother.. i am gonna go one of the 3 ultra-wides.. the canon 10-22 the sigma 10-20 or the sigma 12-24... my problem is i dunno if/when (more when).. i will go full frame or at least 1.3x so hence the 12-24... i dunno....
i dont want a prime though, i use primes for portraiture between 28-100mm ish.. then go zoom but i want zoo wide too... humbug.. i wish i had money

You ain't alone on that front. I think it'll come down to whichever I decide on whenever purchasing day comes around. And who knows? By then Canon might have released new models...

Great piece! I like the idea a lot. Reminds me of stained-glass window. Are they those wooden tulips, or are they real ones? Love tulips.

Pretty colours, I like how the one on the right in the middle picture is blurry lol, I do notice these things. The background and silhouettes of the flowers contrast perfectly, great work.

This is amazing, really well done. The colours are absolutely amazing. The only problem I have is the blurryness on the right flower in the middle pic, I would have preferred it to be in focus but that's just my taste.

it's funny isnt it, that shot is really a taste issue... i didnt really like it at the time (though i still took a few shots of it) and then even when i looked at them later, but my older sister saw them and loved it a lot... so i put it in the middle.. and it has actually grown on me a lot..
but i'm glad u like the series otherwise
