A before and after shot of a mother and her baby boy.

Shot the first pregnant shot during a maternity shoot with the mother and planned on making a basic reflection shot out of it. Thought it looked kind of bland though with the mother staring up somewhat disconnected from the picture. But looking at it, I started thinking it might be interesting to shoot an after picture with the baby and combine it like you see here.

We planned to shoot the baby more "newborn", but he was sick and had to go back into the hospital. So we ended up shooting at six weeks. I was glad for it though, despite his being a bit bigger than planned, he was more aware. And I think him looking at the camera makes the picture more than a newborn curled up on her belly would have.

And speaking of using the image... really, respect that. Another poster on deviant that shall remain nameless for now stole this image and put kristin stewart's face on it and a tree in the background. They then posted it in other forums, the image was re-used for more fan art elsewhere and then found on a fairly large fansite that sells fan made posters. Obviously this is a © violation and they were pulled. But please, respect others work and come up with your own if you want to be creative.
