Description The 1972 Mazda Cosmo 110S Series II is here to play. The Cosmo 110S is considered the breakout Rotary-powered car for Mazda. The Cosmo made it's debut in 1967, and was one of the first production cars to feature a two-rotor Wankel engine. Each of the 1,176 cars built were done so by hand. The car raced at Nürburgring in 1968 where it went 82 of the 84 hours, it had to retire from the race due to axle damage. The car was popular in Japan for it's small engine size, resulting in low taxes for car owners in Japan, and it was cheaper than it's closest rival, the Toyota 2000GT. This car is powered by a 1.3L Naturally-Aspirated 2-Rotor Wankel Engine that produces 128hp and 103lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
