Marvel Animation Character Design, ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN (The Sinister 6), Doctor Octopus as Kraken.
In the final episode of the final season of the show, "Graduation Day: Part 2," Doctor Octopus uses some sort of octopus formula in order to transform himself into a giant octopus-like creature.
My instructions were to design a Kraken type of monster, and so I had some fun with drawing writhing, spiky tentacles emerging from a hunched, bloated figure with squishy fingers. As usual, I've added my own color selections to this design for inclusion in my portfolio. For the creature's clothing, I went back to Doc Ock's classic color palette from the early comics. This was a great design, but you know?, in this picture I see more of the design that Ock had most of the series than his "final form". It would have had more sense if Ock used this form before he adquired his "helathy ultimate form".
