Description
The creature was just incredible. It's wingspan was probably half the size of a modern air battleship! I had no doubt that this beast disabled one of the legendary Dwarven Jupiter juggernaught mechs, that it terrorized the city of Deepwatch for many years before finally destroying it. Curiously he didn't show signs of the Biobot infection, despite being the local host's leader...The monster had been sleeping... Or perhaps pretending to sleep. But he finally "awoke" and turned towards me. I dropped my rifle; after all, what good are bullets against a monster that withstood cannon barrages from mighty Dwarven air line ships?
The monster grinned, looking amused at the insect before him. But I didn't come in here just to shit my pants and die. I took my grappling hook, and fired through a crevasse in the roof. My ride, the dragon Manovanov (half brother to this beast, and significantly smaller), was waiting for me.
The brass would just love to know that Bakarus, terror of Deepwatch, was lurking outside the capital.
