Since I haven't drawn this little weirdo in awhile,I thought I'd take up the opportunity to do so now. XD I had nothing else to draw,so why not?
I've actually had this idea in mind ever since I first created Clocks,but never had the motivation to draw it out on paper. I think I tried to draw it once, but it failed. I hated the positioning of the drawing,and put the entire idea aside.
Buut,since I had nothing else to draw earlier,I decided to give it another shot,and I'm glad I did.
I think this came out pretty good,I'm happy with it. There are some anatomy flaws,I'm still happy with the result. ^^I used the song "You" by Breaking Benjamin for this. I wasn't planning on adding the lyrics,but it'd look empty without them. I also wanted something that had to do with time,but with a more ominous tone to it. So,I used part of the first verse of the song. ^^
My hands are broken.

Clocks is among my favorites as well. ^^ He's got a touch of creativity that the others don't have.

i havent got much characters that are my own idea, cuz ive made up warriors of my own, but not really my own idea, if u kno what i mean.
but, being a future author (im already writing a book) i have made characters that are humans, or i think mutants is a better way to say it, lol

I've got my own Warriors characters myself;I know what you're saying. Sky is actually based off of my Warriors character. :]

I've read quite a bit of it,and I completely agree about the "boring" factor. I'm getting sick of it all,myself...XD I'm more of a Maximum Ride fan,myself. XD
Drawing and Animating is my main focus, but I write sometimes! I like writing scenes from my characters stories,and I'm even trying to make a Story blog based off of a few off my characters,including Clocks. ^^

I know what you mean, at random times, i do just like to write something about something i've created. As a matter of fact, most of my journal entries are about characters that ive made up but didnt make up the whole idea, like warriors (havent done that yet). The one i almost always do is Guardians of gahoole, with the owls. I did make up that one thing about wolves, but its bad.
Also, i love the author of maximum ride, hes my favorite, and i actually did read the first book from it too, it was really good! i should start reading those again, but maybe once i finish my bookshelf of unread books -_-
ps: when i was typing this, my cat was walking on the keyboard, so if there any mistakes, im sorry, but my cat needs a lot of attention XD

Exactly! Writing is actually much harder than drawing is for me though, since I get blocked much easier. D:
I've got a few unfinished ideas up, like Password's arrival at the lab, Venus at Bloodlust,Torn-Heart's story,etc...
Max Ride is among my favorite book series,besides the terrible ending. -_-...

If someone had to ask me if i was better at drawing or writing, i would most likely say drawing, because even though ive been writing for a while and im fairly good at it, i have been drawing for my whole life, im still learning though. I cant quite get value down, but i can shade pretty well, but youre definately better than me, no doubt about that.

yeah, at least i got an awesome sketch pad for my birthday. I really like the style of your drawings, though. it looks so easy when i see your drawings, but whenever i try to draw that style, everything goes downhill -_-

Easy? Unlikely! Now,maybe,it is pretty easy. I've got an understanding of anatomy. Shading is pretty well-done. But, let's go back in time, to last year.
Although I've been drawing for my entie life,last year and '11 were two very big years for me. The beginning of my Animation career.
I want you to look at this,an improvement drawing. Look at the orginal,and then look at the new and improved. Improvement doesn't seem so impossible now,huh?

i cant compete with that, its pretty awesome to think of how a couple of small tricks can make everything seem way better, especially the way this improved THIS MUCH over the course of a year. When i was little, i used to say, " Every peice of art has the same value." and then i would draw a line, point to it, and tell my mom, "That line is as good as the mona lisa" but i was little, so it went more like this, " Every peice of art has the same valu. Dat wine is as good as deh moon a wisa" i was bad at talking -_- im surprised i even knew what value meant. but my point is that if you try hard and reach your goal, what turns out is just as good as something like the mona lisa, and that artist could of had the same goal, right? I hope you understand what im saying here, and if you disagree, it doesnt matter, everyone has their own opinion.

I believe tht every piece of art has the same work ethic. Whether it's amazingly beautiful or horrifically unpleasant,each of the artists took time into creating their work. But,in my opinion,there will always be someone who has a better skill level than you do,and that's how you improve.
Notice how I said "artists." People who actually put effort into their work. I have no respect for someone who jotted down a simple doodle so he could say he had his art homework in on time, and put no effort into it. D:

EXACTLY thats pretty much exactly what i was trying to say, im just bad at explaining things, but i do respect the fact that im not the only one who understands that. And, now that i think of it, i kind of have dark side, i mean everyone does, i just dont like to draw anything dark because sometimes, people dont respect it, ya kno? but i do write about dark stuff lol.
FYI: this message took kinda long cuz i am listening to the radio, and gangnam style style started playing AND I COULD NOT FOCUS. and then, of course, i had to figure out how to turn it off, since im not very good with internet radio -_-

I think everyone has a "darker" side,in a way. Haha.actually,alot of my art is considered to be dark, just because it often includes horror-based themes. XD

lol yeah when i was looking through some of your drawings, i saw a lot of comments that sai.d stuff like "this ones actually happy" and stuff that, and trust me, i feel exactly the same way. If people were saying that most of my art is dark and that i should draw more happy stuff, i would get pretty insulted. I mean, we are who we are, right? people cant change us. Basically, my dark side is just a lot of stuff that has to do with spirits, which i know SO MUCH ABOUT. i read a book on it and i watch a tv series about spirits, and some people think im weird, cuz i like spiders, and if i were locked in a haunted basement and heard a sound, i wouldnt run the other direction, i would go toward the noise, im all about stuff like that.

It never appeared in my deviation stacks. Are you sure you're not mistaking it for "Comatose?" 'Cause I know she made her own version of that,with permission. I really hope she didn't make her own version of this,I never gave her permission,and didn't want anyone else making one. :/

I'm sorry to cause an issue, if there be any. She had it up yesterday (whether or not it was Comatose I don't recall), but it's no longer up. Clocks is a time controller,which is prbably why he looked familiar. He's almost always see with a clock,and he wears the white mask as well,which is why you were probably confused. XD
