I love the little rays of light, the thousands of tiny leaves the waterfall, and even the background give this piece a real sense of depth.

the details in this are gorgeous--the kinda place everyone wants to be in solitude or contemplation. i like the eyes and their hooked noses of bark; the lighting is good, too, the way it shines through those little details of leaves surrounded by darkness. i'm also impressed by the combination of small twigs to big trunks overlapping each other. makes it look realistic.

Your light transitions are flawless, and give your tree a smooth tactile look that I really dig. The faces are perfectly weird without being too subtle to undo your drawing style. The water flow is brilliant. A great job, and I can't wait for you to make this into a print.

I like this, but something about it feels cold. It feels as though there is no emotion behind it. It is like, this is a tree with a face. No symbolism, no emotion, no reach out and grab the audience. Maybe that is what you were going for. If it is, then congratulations. If not, well I have no idea how to grab the audience.
However, what you have done here is defiantly hard to do, and I must congratulate you on the depth that is perceived in the branches. How the two faces in the trees seem to be dominating more of the picture, and the receding waterfall.
Overall, this is a good piece. And I thank you for it.
