Okay, limiting colours was pretty hard, I just wanted to get the red to stand out ...and to create a nice grim theme to it of course!

Do you know about Studio Foglio? They've made plenty of comics and illustrations. Girl Genius is one of theirs with a steampunk setting that I really enjoy. [link]
Looking through your recent art just reminds me of them somehow. You do have your own style, though. The expression and cloak are my favorite parts of this one.

Wow- beautiful work! I love the overall gloomy feel of this piece, and how red's cloak and smile sort of break through the mood. Red's sneaky little grin contrasts wonderfully with the background (I'd personally say she looks like she's plotting something, lol.) The leafy red effect near the bottom of the picture is a stroke of genius;; it could be interpreted in so many ways. Blood, a disintegrating cloak, or maybe just a way to bring the composition together. xD
