All I just want to know is, where in Earth did Solaria's hatred of monsters come from? Certainly not Skywynne and her dad. Jushtin would've been friends with them.

I have a theory:
Remember how her chapter says "A castle stormed is a hero born with might as strong as steel, kneels the void before her and the crushing force she wields"? Perhaps a monster attacked the castle and her mother/father/both hide her and Jushtin away before it killed them. After that, Solaria's young, impressionable mind was forever convinced that all monsters were evil and needed to be destroyed before anyone else could be hurt. But she didn't count on the fact that monsters are capable of compassion and aren't entirely bloodthirsty. And so, by the time she was an adult, she was already dead-set on waging war.
