Description These are four simple sterling silver Coyamito agate pendants. These were made for a client to give to his family members on Christmas(: I let him pick through a bag of Coyamito agates for the stones to be cut for this project.

Ooooooh... I have a collection of agates that I'm planning to do something creative with. I wish I had the tools to turn them into something as beautiful as this. Do you collect your own agates or buy them?

We collect when we get time, but more often then not we buy. We are both very picky with what we get though. Usually we are at the rock shop or show for hours digging through rough We both love doing it

Sounds heavenly
I've not been collecting for a while either. I'm hoping for some stormy weather to shift around the beach where I find them, to expose some new ones. We don't have any rock shops here, unfortunatly, but its probably just as well, I'd spend all my wages in there

*is really fascinated by the largest piece* It looks like a tree with blue leaves or a mass of flowers against a red background. Agate is so fascinating and makes really neat patterns to work with. Lovely job on the stone cutting.

I never saw the tree in this one Thanks, it's so clear now. Jess also agreed.

*blinks* WOW. I see something that the artist hasn't. *amused smile* It's neat how stones can have pictures of different things in them. Glad to point it out then.

When I set that stone the center to me looked like a mushroom cloud, but I agree with your description more

I guess it was because of how the bottom part just came up like a tree that made it seem like one.
