I feel the desperation of abandonment sweating from every line of this poem. It smells like the church pews in the cities of distant relatives where no one knows you and you aren't told why you are there, only that if you figure out that one thing, the one puzzle, then you can have it all back and you fit once again. Thank you for sharing this; it hurts to read, but it throws light into a darkness made less fearsome by feeling it with someone else.
