it was a handheld long exposure. There are spaces between each train section and I think I had the exposure continue a little bit after the last car had passed, so the overall look ended up being a bit see through.
No manipulation.

actually sorry, it's the other way round.. I started the exposure a little before the first car passed by me.
Took this a few years ago, so forgot at first!

natural..only thing photoshopped about it is some brightness / contrast adjustments and saturation levels.. i may have reduced some noise, but can't remember.. basically only edits were to do with tone and colour.
Everything you see within the photo came right off the camera.. I was getting long exposure shots of the metro and everything kinda fell into place for a cool photo.. that woman on the left had been standing still waiting for the metro for a long time and the woman sitting on the right.. well I didn't expect to be able to see her.. that's just luck of the draw!

Gorgeous. I've always been wanting to take a photo like this but usually run into problems. Really impressive. No tripod, either! I'm really impressed. Did you do any post-processing to the colors/contrast? This photo is amazing.

i did some post processing but i can't remember exactly what now! lol the original image was pretty sweet tho (which is why I chose it. it was a nice little surprise on my camera)

It's a nice and well taken shot. But here's some critics.
You should try and play around with Photoshop a little, make it more dark towards the end so it looks like the hallway your face is really long, that'd give a nice effect, atleast you could try.
It's too bright, I think this picture might get out better if it's a bit darker, try photoshopping at the very least.
You should try making a picture like this again, only when it's busier, that might be funny to see.
Oh well, morel ike suggestions instead of critics eh?
(Love it how the passenger sitting at the other side of the station can be seen clearly through the train, amazing coincidence eh? Love this. Favorited.
PS: Mind if I photoshop around with this, try and see if I get up with something funny.

thanks for the suggestions but i don't like relying too heavily on PS.
I've printed this out in it's current version and am very happy with the brightness (people who have seen it printed seem to like that the colours really pop with that brightness) and the dark areas come out very dark. I did bring down the lows a bit to make them darker than the original.
I agree that a shot like this would be cool with a lot of people, but to me, that's just a completely different type of shot. I saw that woman standing there waiting and wanted to mainly just get her standing still... the woman sitting on the other side was a lovely extra hehe
I don't want this to sound bitchy in any way, but I'd prefer if you didn't photoshop it.. if only because I've never (knowingly) had someone take my shot and play with it.. not sure how I'd feel about it, but for now I'd prefer if you didn't. sorry! Thank you for asking though, I appreciate it
