It was sarcasm. I noted the clear relationship between the fact that Mega Man works for eight bosses in this strip and the fact that he fights eight bosses in the main game series. But I made a sarcastic comment which may seem like I'm oblivious about that, but it's clear I imply otherwise at the same time.
