I really hate this maverick hunter first off his design is stupid with that jewel encrusted armor and that beard/mustache, and second his weapon
Electric Spark is almost a copy of Spark Man's weapon the Spark Shock but the worst of all about this guy was his stage first there are those eletric floor shocks that are almost impossible to jump over, and at the same time there those robots that shoot missiles which takes too many hits to kill, then there's a sub boss which is harder than it needs to be, and last those stupid dark parts of the stage and that's why I think Spark Mandrill is the worst maverick hunter in Mega Man X

While I agree that the jewel-laden armor is a bit too flashy, I really like Spark Mandrill. He's big and imposing, and if you don't have the Ice Beam he's fairly difficult. His stage has some of the best music in the game, and the stage is actually easy once you get used to it. Use the tornado move on the missile-shooting turtles and they go down fast. And that mini boss isn't too hard. Just make sure you go in after beating Storm Eagle (knocks out the power) and that you get the dash boots.

I liked the design here. He's scary in this one but hey, when you fight him he's a joke... IF you don't have the Shotgun Ice.
