Wow! This is so detailed. Looks like a computer did a full scan of the real head. This is AMAZING work!

mind blown! Β do you bake half way through or do you work the whole head before baking?

Thank you!! I finish sculpting the whole head before baking.Β But IΒ do sometimes bakeΒ the figure and sculpt the clothing afterwards.

Great job with the wrinkles in his face and the skin texture.

How do you manage to make the skin looking so real? Not to say that your work in general is amazing, but the skin with the pores is a detail I just can't get used to. I'm stunned every time I see that.

Thank you!! The technique is fairlyΒ simple once you get use to it.
I drape plastic from a sandwich bag over the work and then softly
jab it with a sanded toothpick or a very blunt needle. The hard part
is just the tedium of it.

Thanks for the information! It really sounds like a lot of work to do, but it's absolutely worth it!Are the pores the last thing you do on a sculpture? Just asking because I think I'd touch the sculptre so often that one side of it would be entirely smooth again in the end

Yes the pores are about the last thing you do along with the wrinkles. As far as touching the sculpture
the only thing I'm handling is the neck and top of the head for grip.

Thank you so much for all the good tricks! I'm very interested in sculpture, but as I do it as a hobby without being taught, I can use every piece of advice very well.
