Oh I love it! Very much! The drawing itself and its concept. Behind this man is a woman, his mother, who holds such great wishes for him. He could not disappoint her by failing in what he has been born and raised for: being a good soldier. So he does what he is good at, and he does it with honor and honesty. He is a stranger to the lies and the conspiracy of the politicians who try and succeed in destroying him. In that he is innocent. We see here his duality. Great piece!

the detail in the face is amazing, I really don't want to know how large your photoshop file is haha
You did a great job on the eyes, they look unbelievable real, and I love that there are two different sides. I guess it was pretty hard to draw two different lightnings in one face.
And the hair look also so real, I always have a hard time drawing them.
And respect for a 30 hours piece! I think I never managed to do more than 20 in one artwork! (:

Oh gosh it was a huge file, lol. Thank you, yeah I thought it was a good idea at the time, but I kinda wish I had just went for the "tainted" look on both sides, ah well. xD -Hair is something I always end up making brushes for, but looking at your epic work you don't need any tips from me.

You make brushes yourself? I always just heard of it but never tried it. Can you do it in Photoshop?

Yeah I make them in Photoshop, its not hard. But I tend to only really do that for hair, for everything else I just use the basic round soft brush and smudge tool. -The last portrait I did though (of Martin Freeman) I exerpmented with an oli technique which turns out works using various brushes similar to the hair ones, only I used them for everything without making anything too sharp, worked pretty well.
But yeah there are loads of brush making tutorials on YouTube, and if you don't want to do that, there are loads of free for use brushes. Issues for me is not naming my brushes (super bad habit), I tend to spend a lot of time looking for stuff, lol!

I really try to use different brushed, but so often I end up witch the typical round one haha
I just don't get how people can make it look so oil painting like. Guess it would help me if I started to do brushed by myself haha
I totally understand that you don't want to name your brushed, I mean it is a big part of your style and even if I would want to name my brushes I couldn't. I have no
idea where I got them years ago haha

I don't know Coriolanus. He seems to be a very intense character judging by Tom's look in this painting. Very nice !

Very intense, one of Tom's best characters I think. People say he's the villain turned hero, but I think he was a hero all along... He just didn't want to be bothered with people, lol. -But yeah find a rescreen if you can, totally worth going!

Yeah he was amazing in this role (as he is usually) but wow, I was so lucky to get to see this. I just HAD to do some fan art on it.
