Aw, I don't think it will actually be really scary to be honest. Looks more like a romantic gothic movie, with ghost on the side lol. People always think of Pan's Labyrinth when they think Gulimeo del Toro, but he did all the Hobbit movies, and Pacific Rim (which I hear is like Transformers), so he's got a little something for everyone. -I would say I'll let you know if its really scary or not after I see it, but its almost a year away, I'll probably forget. :/

I didn't say he directed it hun, I know that was Peter Jackson. Gulimeo del Toro did the screen play, check it on his IMDB if you don't believe me: www.imdb.com/name/nm0868219/ ...All three Hobbit movies. My point is all his work is NOT jacked up.

Lol well cool, you'll get the full scoop. -To be honest, I'd go just to see that the rest of that one scene, from the trailer.

When he is blond I personally prefer his hair shorter (the cut he had in Coriolanus was nice), but this was commission so hey, there's a side of Tom for everyone, LOL!

You're kind. But sadly no, they were painted together, so I didn't bother painting under dark Tom. But there is a little bit more down the shoulder, for you I went ahead and put it in stash here: sta.sh/014ivoewmf13

Bad boy Tom.
-Never occurred to me (him being so gentlemanly and all), having a tattoo (that was Ashly's idea), but it came out so nice I decided to give him piercings to finish it off.

Not actually anything new... I was watching The Last Enemy, which is from like 2008 or something. And ... How can he make drawing a blood sample sexy? I. Can. Not. Even.
I need to work on watching Martin's filmography. So far, every time I see him I just want to give him a hug.👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Oh I have that one on DVD! Recorded it when it first came out because I heard Robert Carlyle was in it (was a fan after seeing 28 Weeks Later - did a student film remake with my sisters, lol). But had to rewatch it after becoming a Sherlockian, haha. But To The Ends of the Earth is my favorite per-Sherlock movie with Ben, seen that one?
And yeah, Martin's a lovable little hedgehog. You've got me rambling now. xD

Haha rambling is brilliant, OTOH it's your art's comment screen that's being filled up.
Yeah, I actually rented The Last Enemy and To The Ends of the Earth at the same time; I have a local video store with a fairly deep inventory of Brit TV and Brit drama, which I feel like I am renting the entire section, 2 or 3 DVD sets at a time. I do love him (and everyone else) running around in period clothes, also JJ Feild (Deverel) is also yummy. But I feel like there's more simmering sexiness in Last Enemy, idk why. About the scene I referenced (and posted a picture from it to my fb), my bestie said, "Ya know even with my phobia of needles, that is kinda hawt."
Well I think it's because what I've really noticed him in is Sherlock, where I want to hug him for having to put up with Sherlock's shit (and everyone else's shit being aimed at Sherlock, ie, Moriarty's) and the Hobbit, where I want to hug him for having to put up with the shit of 13 dwarves and Gandalf.
My bestie has a bit of a crush on Martin; I'm like, you can have him, I'm not into him like that. I just think he's adorable and needs a hug.

xD That's cool, video stores are my area are all closed down these days. Replaced with Netfilx, so if its not on there they don't care, lol. But yeah I was able to find Ends of the Earth and most of Ben's movies on YouTube (one person on there, really has an exstinive collection). -I liked JJ's character, but best in Thrid Star not sure why. Also yeah I don't care for Martin like that either, but I enjoy his personality, just so fisty. He's always putting up with someone, lol. But that's why I've been so into Fargo lately, his character there is fed up, and a bit murderious totally yelled "OMG, WATSON JUST KILLED SOMEONE!" no one else was even in the room, LOL! Sometimes roles just stick to people like that I guess.
Also love basically everything David Tennant is in, but all in all I'm still a bigger TH fan than anything. He could read the dictionary and it would be interesting. The world would explode from the inside out, if we could get them all into ONE movie. Keep dancing all around it, but its always a hit and miss.
The only thing that could be better in my opinion, would be to have Tom play the Doctor.

Local independent video store, what can I say. Glad they still exist.. (as I think I mentioned before) they have a pretty deep selection with Brit stuff, which makes me very happy. Netflix in Canada is... well, it's good for some things, apparently; my brother and brother-in-law with a 5 year old kid tell me it's very good on the kids programming - a lot of good animated kids shows are made up here, it seems; but what I've found is that every time there's a specific movie I want to watch, they don't have it. So I cancelled my subscription after the third time they failed to have something specific I wanted.
Okay, sounds like I need to be looking in to watching Fargo. Do I need to watch the original movie, first, or will it make sense without? ... You think Freeman is going to get stuck with everyone thinking of him as Watson the way, I dunno, the way Nimoy got stuck with Spock? There are worse roles to get forever remembered by, anyway.
Not a Whovian, so I can't relate; is there other stuff DT is in that need to be seen?
Getting all our favourite actors into one movie: wouldn't work so well with the young man actors, because there's only one big part, but I have on my LJ a post about all the things I wish could happen / I wish I could do, that aren't really likely or possible. Sort of a bucket list but ridiculous. I want to see TH as Hamlet - actually even better on stage than on screen, that's my fantasy... and then I start wondering about who else you would cast, it could totally be a Brit allstars, ya know? Helen Mirren as Gertrude.. that's as far as I've gotten.
