Jessica-Rae-3 — The half-elf and the halfling: sketchy weirdness by-nc-nd

Description Yep. My sis and I are playing Pathfinder. =w= She is the half-elf Tedra that is a cleric, while I am Clover the halfling that is a rogue. This shall go to scraps because...it was just something I sketched for fun. It was better than some of the other doodles I drew while the Game Master was talking. >.> I feel like I'm back in middle school, drawing as my teacher talks. Anyway, this is a funny idea for us to be like this. Also, yes, I know the pic stinks. Don't judge.

It's not as bad as dungeons and dragons. But it's not THAT complicated. >.> Trust me; I have a slight ADD problem so I'd lose interest quickly if there were too many rules. It's mostly talking about certain parts of the world and what you need to keep in mind depending on what kind of creature you are.

If I'm remembering an episode of Dexter's Lab right, you should be good at burrowing too right?

I guess. It was an option, but I turned it down since I could only grab so many abilities at my level.

Haha, I thought that was just in the parody XD In the cartoon they called him a Furry-Footed Burrower instead of a Halfling.

Wait, you mean I can actually join? I have only played DnD, but I give this warning: I usually play a rogue/ thief type character. x3

Jessica-Rae-3 In reply to Trepidanos [2014-05-09 05:03:24 +0000 UTC]

Oy, sure. Not in the actual game. But in lil comics that result from our characters, you can tell me what you'd want to be and what you'd do in a situation.

Trepidanos In reply to Jessica-Rae-3 [2014-05-12 02:56:17 +0000 UTC]

I was joking around, but okay! x3 I am not familiar with Pathfinder, but I presume it has the same premises as DnD... or most of them. Still, I feel wrong just butting into your comics and adventures.

Trepidanos In reply to Jessica-Rae-3 [2014-05-13 21:14:01 +0000 UTC]

Besides, Trepidanos would not do well with others in a game with people he doesn't know. >:3 If their pockets be lined with gold, a few pieces from a character's pocket may find their way to mine. Actually... Trep isn't a thief. So nevermind.

lol I'm not either, but it's what my character is.

You is the thief? Ooh, they better watch their pockets then. I love playing the thief: get invited to a party, steal silverware, turn silverware into silver weapons later. x3 Well, I guess one of my versions of Trep would be a thief. >u>

Aim for the back, get the bonus damage and exp. x3 Dang it! Now talking about it makes me wanna play some DnD, but my friends don't have time anymore. The worst time I had was playing a thief with low intelligence, low wisdom, and low charisma... beats the purpose of a rogue if you ask me. >_>

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Jessica-Rae-3 In reply to Trepidanos [2014-05-15 00:39:21 +0000 UTC]

Yeah...that does defeat the purpose. >_>

Trepidanos In reply to Jessica-Rae-3 [2014-05-15 10:34:06 +0000 UTC]

Ooh! I got an idea. Maybe you could do low priced commissions for cameos in your adventures in the comics? :3

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Jessica-Rae-3 In reply to Trepidanos [2014-05-15 17:20:02 +0000 UTC]

I could. >w> There is one funny comic that she and I came up with that I'm not sure many of you would get the reference unless y'all watched "Clue" and "Blazing Saddles"...if not, it still ought to be enjoyable. =w=

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Trepidanos In reply to Jessica-Rae-3 [2014-05-15 20:12:47 +0000 UTC]

You... Just made my day! I will get those references without a second thought. x3

Still, if you do it commission style, I would feel a less guilty for inviting myself into your adventure (even as just a cameo).

Mine was named bright eyes, cuz she was dark brown, but she had really bright yellow eyes.  And the squirrel was named squirrely (so creative right? ) since it was the only thing he would respond to.  Both are gone now tho.  Id totally buy another squirrel if it wasnt illegal in GA for some reason :I

Yeah, they consider them a wild animal, in the same category of foxes, wolves and bob cats, XD.  I mean, it's a squirrel!  Worst it'll do is pee on you .  The only reason we got him was because we found him hurt on the ground one day, and just kept him.

That was so nice of you guys. I remember rescuing a baby bunny from an ant hill...but it only lived for about fifteen minutes afterwards. That was pretty sad to watch, but at least I tried to get it better even in that short of time. I was thankful Summer wasn't around. >.>

Awh, poor bunny :c.  But atleast you saved it from even more ant bites, and made his last 15 minutes comfortable .  I've tried to help animals that didn't make it too.  Like birds, and a chipmunk once.  The other day, we found a baby bird in the driveway.  He seemed ok cept for a tiny strand of a feather had tied around one of his toes cutting off circulation.  I was able to remove the feather with a tiny pair of those sideways nail clippers.  I made a nest for him in a 5 gallon homedepot bucket, and covered him up with an umbrella and a tarp (it was a week or so ago when we got all that rain).  The best part was that even after we had handled the bird with our hands, the momma and daddy birds were still taking care of him, bringing him worms and other food.  Usually once touched the baby, the scent makes the parents abandon baby, so that was odd .   His toe got better, so We released him the other day and all three of them flew away together.  It was so nice to see them together like that

I took pics of him

That baby is so adorable. And I think the nest is just fine. We southerners just know how to use anything to make something. But I'm so happy for him.
