Yesterday (January 10th) was the 2 year anniversary for my favourite book ever. The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. If you haven't read it yet already I highly recommend it. So here's some fan-art by me. I tried to make it as true to the book as possible, using descriptions right out of the text.
I used watercolours and it took be 3+ hours. (Or somewhere around there, I'm bad at timing.)

Thanks, I like using them a lot. I feel that watercolours are the bridge between coloured pencils and acrylic paint. In my opinion they're not too difficult to control, like coloured pencils, but offer an almost unlimited range of colours with a flow you can only get from liquid mediums like acrylic.

Yeah, Looking for Alaska is really good, though I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is easily upset. (But you read the Fault In Our stars so you should be fine.) It's a bit more mature to read, but has a great plot and is well written.
I've read all books by John Green and I can say that they're all really good. If you want a sweet love story, try Let It Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle. It's three romance stories all interwoven into one amazing plot!

Saddest. Book. Ever. If John Green doesn't start being nicer to these characters after making me love them I'm taking them away from him. But nice picture.

Hummm that depends. Personaly I love sorting things and goodreads is great for just that lol you can have like your online library and keep track of which books you've read, which you want to read, see what friends are reading/have read/plan to read. You can sort them into personal shelves and the website gives you recommendations based on what books you've rated.
But that's really just if you enjoy that kind of stuff haha I love it so sometimes i just sit down and start putting books on "shelves" for no good reason really. lol
