There is something appealing about its simplicity. I like it.
You may want to try stretching your paper more before doing watercolor though, to decrease the buckling of the surface.

Even real water color paper won't totally do the trick if you get it too wet.
Take the water color paper, soak it in the bath tub evenly, then use a staple gun to attach it around the entirety of its edges to a piece of plywood about the size of a drawing board. Do not remove the staples until you are done applying the water color.

thank you, the style is a bit new to me still, but a lot of fun. i love linework, so it's hard to stray into a 100% realm of paint.
