Because. xD He hates Bakura for trapping his friends into dolls and cards, and ruining his social life and driving him away from his family. And then he used Ryou's body (as they were sort of canon to begin with) to rape Seto. Who... is a hermaphrodite and got pregnant. xD So Ryou ended up becoming a teenaged father and he freaked out. Badly. And threw away the Ring. Then shit happened -- magical shit -- and Bakura ended up getting a body of his own. And Ryou's just like, "Don't come near me. You life-ruiner. D<"
And of course, though he tries to love the children, they're not technically his. xD; So he's irritated about that, too.
The one that Bakura favors looks just like him (save that instead of brown eyes, he has blue) and he named the kid Zorc and taught him how to steal and cuss, hahaha. That kid's a mean little thing to everyone but Bakura. So Ryou ends up just mostly staying at home and taking care of Seth, the one that favors Seto (but has purple eyes. Lawl, Thief King?), and yeah. He also has fallen in love with Seto, but Bakura keeps fucking up Seto's already fucked up mind, and he then turns and attacks Ryou (usually only verbally). |D;;
I'm half tempted to have Bakura "assert his dominance" over Ryou, and he like, "There, you're both mine, now. :| I GUESS you can touch each other if you want. But I get first dibs. D<"
