Description
A gift for my little brother. His name is Ravn, so I made him a raven. I might add a background later, but right now I'm pretty satisfied with it the way it is. :]I'm aware of the fact that ravens don't have blue eyes, but it looked so sinister with black/brown, and my brother just turned four. So I tried to make it less scary looking, seeing as it's supposed to hang in his bedroom.
I think I used about 5,5 effective hours of work on this one. A bit longer than usual, since it's the first time I've drawn a bird.
Done in Photoshop CS5 with a Wacom Bamboo tablet.

Really lovely piece. The eye here is the best part which drew me into it. Really emotional.
And I don't think crow or raven eyes are sinister, they are beautiful.
But you made good choice using blue for your kid brother

Thanks a lot! I didn't mean to say that their eyes are sinister like in general, but this raven looked sinister with the right colour. But I'm quite happy with the choice, and I'm glad you like it. Or love it, as you say.
