These days I mark an area with the selection tool and use the drag color effect(comes out much better) but here I just took a pencil and drew a straight line lightly so that it could be slightlyΒ transparent

I use it as well, is there a faster way to shade certain parts instead of just tracing around them with the lasso marquee?

using that too it kinda hard and takes time, just use the "auto select" tool (the magic wand) withΒ the "refer other layers to select" settings Β and mark the places I want to shade, then I use the pen and draw a line where the shade will be most visirble, and then take the "watercolor" and the the "Paint and apply" pen and gently glick on the line I druw (this can only be done with a drawing pen for computers) and the line will become less sharp and colors behind it will be visirble+a little more dark will be on basicly the intire spot that I marked
