Penciled and colored most of this while I was drunk and I had alot of fun doing it. This version is a little bit closer to the original concept I like how the skin tone came out almost how I want it but not quite.For now I'll call him Caelum.

Practice and getting used to brushes. I think this was done in painter though. You can go to some websites like conceptart.org and go to there help and tutorial section.

Yeah but for some reason I love it. Only thing that sucks is I can't really do it when I'm around the fellas or kickin it with a girl. So unfortunately I end up drinking alone or after an event. Thanks for the look.

Yeah I think he's mad at himself. I havent really come up with a back story as to why he's bleeding but I just think it fits his persona. Drunken callig? Sounds cool, I'm gonna try and have a series of drinking and drawing and see how my pics develop from picture to picture.

I recommend a bowl of warmed sake or a cup of plum wine to help pickle one's artistic juices.
Never use absinthe, mind you, as you're never going to convince anyone of your art if you mail your severed right earlobe to your ex-girlfriend.

Ahh man I've been doing these things for way too long alot of times I don't even mention it. That last venom pic I painted a good amount of it drunk but if it's not the majority I don't feel like it should be brought up. I guess you gotta know your limit. And thanks alot Higekun.

For some reason the first couple of drinks you'll notice yourself getting looser and looser I came to a point where I just had to stop all together.

lol Thats a habit of mine without drinks. I feel alot of the time a need to keep working into things and define shapes and then look back and realise how crap it looks 'cos I tried too hard to over do it lol.
