I really don't get into media coverage . . .but this one . . . fucks with me.
This kid got shot, but the shooter did not get arrested.
Some forums are trying to slander this kid's name, but what's that going to prove.
They say that it was Stand Your Ground law, but the guy stalked this boy.
Some people are like "Black kids die everyday, why this guy is so important?" Because, we know who the killer is and he's still FREE!
everyone, for Trayvon Martin, put your hoodies on!
. . . . and arrest George Zimmerman.

It's a bunch of bull is what it is. I don't blame the Black Panther party for putting a supposed 10k bounty on this guy (I say that's just a news rumor) Bottom line is, no-one is going to admit to this young innocent black boy from getting racially profiled by a "neighborhood watch captain" in the south for gaddsake. I mean, as a black man, I got pulled over in Newport Beach,wearing form-fitting clothing and riding a skateboard, all because the cop had never seen my black-ass before in that yuppy white neighborhood. It wasn't the fact that he was wearing a bright red hoodie in the rain. It was because he was black. I'm sick of this unwarranted martyrdom -__-

The stalking part is the real kicker in this case. I was watching the news this morning and they were trying to say Trayyon broke the guy's nose and slammed his head down, but there was no evidence of this in videos following the incident, no blood anywhere, no bruises, no broken nose.

Media is biased on both sides. Truth was, Trayvon was acting shady as fuck, and there had been burglaries in the neighborhood, Zimmerman was a jackass and followed him, then Trayvon whupped his ass, Trayvon say the gun and tried to grab it, they struggled over it, gun discharged, Trayvon dies. The whole thing wouldn't have happened if Zimmerman didn't decide to follow him, or if Trayvon didn't assault him, or if while ZImmerman screamed for help the neighbors actually intervened before lethal force became necessary, or if Trayvon hadn't tried to take Zimmerman's gun(to use for future criminal endeavors). Not to mention the left wing media doctoring ZImmerman's image to make him look like a white guy instead of an obese Mexican and put so much spin on the whole thing, making it look lik Trayvon was completely innocent. But that's just it, it's all media spin. The legal system doesn't let someone get away with just shooting a black kid for no reason. Try to find actual cited evidence rather than just watching the news and getting butthurt over typical media misrepresentation of facts.

Yeah, the media is hellbent on keeping racial issues alive and well for one agenda or another. Labeling Zimmerman as "white Hispanic" is especially curious to me. If Zimmerman had been shot by some white guy, I imagine he would be labeled as simply "Hispanic". Not that Hispanic is even a race. It was a voting block created by the Nixon administration hoping it would be to Republicans what African Americans generally are to Democrats (we see how well that worked out for them). I wish that society would appeal to logic of the individual, rather than the hysteria of the groups we place ourselves in.

Yep, I know about the Hispanic thing, that actually goes deeper than that. And using logic, grown man kills kid, lies to the police, get set free. . . the kid deserves justice.

Whatever the hell happened there, I hope to God that justice is served. I just strongly resent the way that the media and politicians take a tragic event, and purposely make it into a divisive issue for their own ends. It's difficult to find any objective media. At best they do what they do for ratings and at worse they do what they do for political agenda. When the politicians start trying to take advantage of a situation like this is when I get really pissed. A human being is dead. What kind of sicko tries to make a bad situation worse, by purposely ramping up racial tensions, to benefit his political career? The truth is, that I trust no media in this situation, regardless of how they portray Zimmerman or Martin. Don't take my attitude as any slight towards you. You're more than free to feel how you want about it.

Zimmerman isn't even white, if you've seen the original mugshot, he's pretty brown. The media brightened it up, made it look like a white guy killed an "innocent" black person. As a black person, I hate the fact that they're skewing stories like this, while ignoring hate crimes committed by blacks,like the white couple that wandered into the wrong neighborhood, were assaulted, mutilated, raped and killed by a few black dudes, but got no media coverage, or the white kid that was stalked for two blocks, splashed with gasoline and lit on fire by two black kids for being white. I watch the news for some goddamn news, not to watch the media misrepresenting reality to make white people look bad to appease the white guilt.
