"Great... JUST GREAT I have to stand here and baby sit you while everyone else goes and does more important things?" A woman's voice spoke out, as the visualization soon showed that of a brown-furred adult female hedgehog coming into view standing beside an adult green furred hedgehog.

The female had a few frontal quills that acted more like hair, and light pink eyes- her ears were somewhat broken up, and she had a robotical hand; at the time being she was wearing a black jacket with blue jeans and brown boots, along with a pink undershirt from her jacket; while she had a few scars visible on her hands.

The green furred hedgehog was male, he had a few frontal quills and was wearing a dark blue jacket with a yellow t-shirt underneath and black jeans with brown boots, while he had a scar visible on his muzzle and above his bright blue eyes, while he was seen with a few marks on his ears as well indicating they were damaged, but this didn't seem to concern either of them, with the green furred hedgehog rolling his eyes and adding.

"Yeah, well Stac not to happy about being here either.." All the while the brown-furred hedgehog rolled her eyes.

"Can you at least do something that merits me kicking your butt?" She asked angrily, while the green furred hedgehog looked over at her.

SO, meet Stacy brown-furred hedgehog and Chandler green furred hedgehog, two hedgehog friends that go WAAAAAY back to prior to the Dragon War era of times, but I'm getting ahead of myself; let me start from the beginning.

Stacy was a typical hedgehog girl living with her family and growing up pretty ordinary, she meets a boy in high school named John and after the two graduate they decide to get married; and start a life together, the two of them couldn't be happier- while Stacy is more of a closed off person not having very many friends, John runs more with a group of people and introduces Stacy to many of his friends, but the most important?

His closest friend Chandler Jospeh

Typically John and Chandler hang out more so then all of John's other friends, and Stacy doesn't mind it though- she understands they're friends, they're going to hang out; and by extension she ends up becoming pretty close to Chandler as well, offering for him to spend nights with them when he gets into a fight with his own wife, baking him some things, even buying him Christmas gifts etc. They're basically like couple friends, John and Stacy along with Chandler and his wife Jessica

Then everything changes when the Dragon War hits, and is won in favor of The Dragon's rule.

John and Stacy agree that they are going to try to make the most out of their new lives living under the threat of the Dragons trying not to make them mad, etc; but the Dragons begin demanding more and more of John's time, and Stacy begins to feel neglected; begins to even feel single not seeing her husband as much as she once did, not being able to talk to him as much as she once did, seeing as when John would get home, he would be too tired to talk or just "not want to talk about it" thus she tries to respect his wishes and leave it be

A whole lot of other things happen, and Stacy ends up having an affair with Chandler; just to feel like she is wanted again, she of course feels extremely guilty and breaks things off with Chandler the very next morning ( she plans on keeping this betrayal to her grave ) but learns that she is pregnant and decides she has to come clean to John about everything.

Needless to say John wasn't happy

Lots of fighting happens, John and Chandler have some cough cough "words" cough cough with their fists; but after said child is born, he and Stacy agree to try to make their marriage work; and after some discussion, Chandler agrees to forfeit his parental rights to the unborn child, and John is officially named father of Stacy's son when he is born, which they promptly called Slide

Turns out, Chandler ends up becoming father to a new baby shortly thereafter, that he and his wife Jessica call Joe

Skip ahead a few years, and Joe begins picking on Slide- and in the Dragon War era of times, Joe ends up taking Slide as his slave; which enrages parents Stacy and John who just want their son back, Chandler of course uses every opportunity to rub the fact they can do nothing about Slide being forced into being with them in their faces, and shows tremendous amounts of evilness; after Slide ends up telling his parents EVERYTHING that Chandler put him through, it just makes Stacy's ( and by extension John's resentment) of their former friend grow and grow.

Skip ahead, and the Dragon War is won in favor of Equality; Slide's parents are long gone by now, Slide's free of his slavery, and things seemed to be over; but then when Slide ends up befriending the guardians, as a gesture of starting over, Ghost brings back John from the dead, Stacy is brought back to normal and they learn that Chandler never actually died and was living in the shadows, after capturing Chandler, they decide to detain him as he remains to be his "charming" old sociopathic self.

ANYWAY, story for another time

Side Notes To Remember

Slide tells his family that Chandler wasn't just someone who picked on him ( Like Joe and the rest of Joe's family ) Chandler was a straight-up killer, killing innocent people and forcing Slide into being his accomplice; when confronted about it, Chandler feels no sympathy and doesn't care what he did.

John was pretty angry at Stacy's affair and considered divorce for a long time, but never held any resentment towards Slide because he understood Slide was kind of the innocent kid in all of this, even treated him like a son FIERCELY

According to Chandler's story, the fact that Slide was his son had nothing to do with Joe wanting to take him as a slave; it was simply Joe's choice, Chandler just didn't stop him.

Slide learns the truth about his parents when he is taken to the Mind-altering facility run by Doctor Resin
