So, anyone wanted to know how I planned to fix Gilbert?Β

Actually if you look at the unused dialogue for Gilbert it imply's you could have saved him at some point if it was not changed by the time the game came out, though not confirmed as it is a bit vague and could not be if you look at the second bit of dialogue. Going off the knowledge that he is sick and seems to have no concern other than dyingΒ human you can presume he has no care for material objects even giving you a weapon he could had used to protect himself with. Though i will let you decide. Here's the missing dialogue.Β
"Why, what's this? Are you sure about this? You must know its value? ...Thank you... It was never my intention to impose upon you, but your kindness is most welcome. You don't know how much this will help. Thank you, really..."
"Are you sure about this? You must know its value? It was never my intention to impose upon you, but your kindness is most welcome. Ahh, we'll be together again soon... You told me to live, and so I did. Please, tell me that it was enough. Please, my dear..."

Your Hunter looks really good, I especially like his hair.Β Doing this would've been great in the game.Β Heck, it would probably save the good Doctor, too.Β When you get back and the imposter tries to off her, you'll be there with a laugh and joke about how stupid they were while you eviscerate the scum.

I would settle from being allowed to save just one of them - then i would reply the game with 10 different characters and save someone else every time and by the end of it everyone would be savefXD

Considering Gilbert's proximity to the clinic, odds are Iosefka WAS treating him before the night begun... Heck, she might've even made house calls to him on a regular basis, but had to cut down on them once the night of the hunt began as her becoming infected or killed would pretty much doom her patients... It's also possible she might've moved Gilbert from the clinic to the nearby house because keeping him around was posing too much of a danger to her other patients.

Yeah, that's what I mean; From Software tend to put a lot of effort into designing their worlds in ways that makes the world tell more of the story than they, themselves, do... and a critically ill man living that close to a clinic is just sensible story telling as far as I'm concerned.

Hunter: ILOSEFKA! *bashes down door and sprints like a bat out of hell back to gilbert carrying the doctor under his arm giving no fucks as she kicks and squeals*Β

Hunter: Are fucking nonexistent, now fix this shit or so help me god I WILL chuck you into the lynch mob down the street. *gestures to the mob doing the fucking rain dance in the middle of the street...*

They are the ones Yharnam need AND deserve (most of the citizen at least).
It's also adorable how the 'Good Hunter', lifts her up, without any visible effort.
And the fine details on their clothes are superb! I want such fancy clothing, too~β₯

XD It would be a super cool if we could bring a super blood to Gilbert to prolong his life in game - like, Iosefka's or Arianna's or Adella's. It would add to the game if we had to chose between using the special blood when we need it and saving it for Gilbie TT
